It wasn’t unusual for the city’s top musicians to drop by, folks like Fred Ford, Honeymoon Garner, Michael Toles, Doug Garrison, Chad Watson, Fred Hester, Calvin Newborn, Steve Potts, Donnie Patterson, and Jim Spake. Tony Joe White and Leon Russell also were known to drop by. They would play just about everything. |
